Cellucor P6 Ultra is a supplement that claims to help support your goals and provide a number of other health benefits.

We’ve always got a keen eye out for the latest so-called ‘testosterone boosters’ to hit the market as we’ve made it our mission this year to unearth the very best products around in this category.

Before we get started, it’s important to realise that most of the products in this category, including the one featured on this page, have not been proven to boost testosterone levels.

They are usually simply food supplements which contain a number of plant extracts and other ingredients such as vitamins and minerals.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ll know that Cellucor are one of the biggest names in the health and fitness supplements industry, and their products are readily available online at places such as Amazon, as well as in stores like GNC and CVS.

P6 Ultra is one of the main supplements in their range and it claims to bring a host of health benefits to help you achieve peak performance.

The reason for this Cellucor P6 Ultra review is for us to take a close look at this supplement from all angles as we bid to try and see where it stands in comparison to the best products on the market in this category.

Best testosterone booster supplements
We've picked out the top three leading supplements on the market right now.

We’re going to focus on the ingredients formula, the customer reviews and the doses as we look to try and determine just how good (or bad) this supplement is.

So, let’s not waste any more time, and let’s begin taking a close look at Cellucor P6 Ultra from all angles.

Cellucor P6 Ultra – The Basics

So, as we’ve already deduced, Cellucor P6 Ultra is a supplement that has been designed to help support you on your fitness journey.

It’s available to buy on Amazon and elsewhere and is one of the newest additions to the P6 range by Cellucor.

According to the official Amazon listing, P6 Ultra will work in four main ways to help support your goals.

This all sounds pretty good to us.

The listing also says that this product comes with a satisfaction guarantee, meaning that you can get your money back if you’re not satisfied.

Of course, we’ve heard it all before when it comes to claims made by supplement manufacturers.

The real test as to whether a product can live up to the marketing hype or not will be passed or failed through the ingredients label, doses and customer feedback.

The Amazon listing also makes some other promises, such as saying that P6 Ultra will help you to “reclaim your manhood” boost virility.

Now it’s time to take a close look at the ingredients formula of Cellucor P6 Ultra to see where this product really stands in comparison to the competition and the leading supplements on sale at the moment.

The Ingredients

Let’s begin this part by taking a close look at the actual ingredients label of Cellucor P6 Ultra.

The full Cellucor P6 Ultra ingredients formula. Unfortunately, it uses a proprietary blend.
The full Cellucor P6 Ultra ingredients formula. Unfortunately, it uses a proprietary blend.

It’s really disappointing to see that Cellucor have chosen to use a proprietary blend with this supplement.

We’re not at all fans of proprietary blends, because they simply give manufacturers an excuse not to disclose the full doses of the ingredients used.

Generally speaking, we always recommend that you steer clear of any supplements that use proprietary blends.

Let’s now look at the Cellucor P6 Ultra ingredients in a bit more detail to see whether it can come back from this setback or not.

• Ashwagandha – This is quite a good place to start for Cellucor P6. The KSM-66 form of Ashwagandha in this supplement has been shown in clinical trials to have some significant benefits, and we are fans of it as an ingredient for supplements in this category. The problem, though, is that we don’t know if the dose used is enough to be effective because of the proprietary blend.

• Fenugreek – Another decent inclusion. This ingredient is commonly found in a lot of the leading products in this category and we are big fans of it. Again though, we don’t know the dose used, which makes it incredibly difficult to judge whether it’s going to be effective or not.

• Maca Root Extract – A vegetable extract that is common as a supplement ingredient. It’s a good inclusion in the sense that it’s believed to have some positive properties. However, there is little to no evidence to suggest that it will be able to help with the primary purpose of this supplement, unfortunately.

• Agaricus Bisporus Fruit Extract – Also known as white button mushroom. There is some evidence that Agaricus Bisporus be beneficial, but more research is needed. So sadly it’s not the most effective ingredient for a supplement like this.

• Panax Ginseng Root Extract – A good inclusion for any supplement in this category. Ginseng is commonly used as a food supplement for a variety of reasons and a lot of the products in this category contain it as an ingredient. The only drawback here is that there is not much evidence from human trials suggesting it really works.

What’s Missing?

The Cellucor P6 Ultra formula is let down badly by the fact that it uses a proprietary blend to deliver its nutrients.

This means that we don’t know the actual doses of the ingredients used, which makes it incredibly difficult to judge whether it’s going to be effective or not.

Cellucor P6 Ultra is also missing some of our favorite ingredients out there. These include:

• D-Aspartic Acid
• Boron
• Magnesium and Zinc

D-Aspartic Acid should really be the first ingredient you look for in a supplement in this category as it has shown significant promise in helping with a variety of things.

Magnesium and Zinc are two other nutrients that we look for when selecting a good supplement in this category.

It’s a real shame that they haven’t made it into the Cellucor P6 Ultra formula as they are two of the best minerals for a supplement like this.

Cellucor P6 Ultra Reviews

Because it’s a popular product on Amazon, it was no surprise to find more than 200 Cellucor P6 Ultra reviews on the site.

At the time of writing, it had an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars, which is pretty decent.

One customer said that it was the only supplement that they had ever used and that it worked pretty well for them.

Someone else said that they fully stood by this product and that they had purchased it many times before.

However, there were also some negative reviews, as is usually the case with most supplements.

One person said that it was “by far the worst” supplement that they had ever tried and that they didn’t notice “a single ounce” of change after having taken it.

Someone else also claimed that it didn’t work and told people to “save their money”.

Cellucor P6 Ultra Side Effects

The Cellucor P6 Ultra formula is a pretty safe one, so there shouldn’t be too much danger of any side effects.

That’s generally the case with most similar supplements, as they tend to use natural ingredients that have been approved for use in food supplements.

That being said, we do always recommend that you check the ingredients label yourself and do some of your own research before trying any new supplement for the first time.

It’s also not exactly ideal that we don’t know the individual doses of the ingredients used because of the proprietary blend.

We do recommend that you speak to your doctor before taking any new supplement for the first time.

Is This The Best Supplement For Me?

Not really. This supplement is let down badly by the fact that it uses a proprietary blend to mask the true doses of the ingredients used.

This means that we don’t really know whether the ingredients are balanced effectively to make for a supplement that actually works.

Anything Else To Consider?

You should always remember that any kind of supplement should follow having your diet and training regime on point.

Never expect a supplement to do all of the hard work for you. You should always make sure that you’re training hard and eating right before expecting to see any results.

That being said, if you are able to combine a quality supplement with a healthy diet and training regime, then you can expect to see some pretty impressive results.

Review Conclusion – Final Thoughts

That brings us to the end of this Cellucor P6 Ultra review.

Overall, we were pretty disappointed by this supplement. It’s one of the cheaper products out there and sadly its formula places it towards the bottom of the spectrum.

P6 Ultra does contain a handful of decent ingredients, but we feel that it’s let down badly by the fact that it contains a proprietary blend, meaning that we don’t know the actual doses of the ingredients used.
