Raze-Burn is a pre workout supplement made by The Protein Works which is designed to help support your training goals.
Pre workouts are a great way to ensure that you’re able to get the very most out of your training sessions as you look to hit your body goals.
But where does Raze-Burn stand? In this review, we’re going to take a detailed look at this particular supplement as we look to see exactly where it stands in comparison to the best pre workout supplements on the market at the moment.
We’re going to be paying particularly close attention to the ingredients formula, the customer reviews and the dosages as we look to rank this supplement.
There are so many different pre workouts out there these days that it can quickly become difficult to pick out the best ones.
So with the introductions out of the way, let’s start taking a closer look at Raze-Burn to see exactly where this pre workout stands.
Raze-Burn Pre Workout – The Basics
As we have already mentioned, Raze-Burn is a pre workout supplement made by The Protein Works which is designed to help you hit your training goals.
The Protein Works is a UK-based company, and we’re big fans of their affordable and quality supplements.
Raze-Burn is available in two flavors:
• Blood Orange
• Green Apple Spike
According to the official marketing material for Raze-Burn on the website, this supplement is a “thermogenic pre workout” that delivers on two fronts.
As well as the usual pre workout benefits, this supplement is claimed to work to help support your body goals by using things such as Green Tea Extract and CLA.
The product is claimed to help you to “maximize your body composition goals”.
It all sounds pretty good to us so far, but we prefer not to pay too much attention to what manufacturers say about their own products.
Instead, it’s usually much better to focus on the actual individual ingredients formula and customer reviews to see exactly where a supplement stands.
So, with that in mind, let’s move on to the next important section in our Raze-Burn review.
Let’s begin this important section by taking a close look at the actual ingredients label of Raze-Burn pre workout as shown on the bag.
First things first, it’s a bit disappointing that The Protein Works have opted to use a proprietary blend with this supplement. This means that we don’t know the doses of the individual ingredients in this product, which is far from ideal.
Generally, we recommend staying away from supplements that use proprietary blends, as there’s no reason to use them other than to cut corners.
Let’s now focus on the main ingredients in the Raze-Burn pre workout formula.
• Caffeine – This is one of the most common pre workout ingredients out there. You probably already know all about Caffeine and it’s benefits. The problem here is that we don’t know exactly how much is included per dose, because the exact serving is not revealed. We all know that too much Caffeine can cause unwanted negative side effects.
• Matcha Green Tea Extract – This is a common ingredient in a lot of so-called ‘fat burner’ supplements. Green Tea is known to have a number of benefits, and it’s a good inclusion in the Raze-Burn formula.
• Conjugated Linoleic Acid – Also known as CLA, this is another common ingredient for thermogenic supplements. It’s claimed to have a number of benefits and be able to support your goals.
• L-Carnitine – This is an amino acid that we like to see included in pre workout supplements. It’s a good inclusion in the Raze-Burn formula.
• L-Tyrosine – This is another one of the essential amino acids needed to build protein in the body. It’s a decent inclusion, but it’s a shame that we don’t know the dose used.
• Whey Protein Isolate – You probably already know about Whey Protein as a supplement. It’s somewhat unusual for Whey Protein to be added to a pre workout supplement, as usually it’s consumed after training.
• Vitamins B6 and B12 – These are two important B Vitamins that are always welcome in supplements of this type. In case you didn’t know, both Vitamins B6 and B12 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal energy release.
There are also a number of other important Vitamins and Minerals in the Raze-Burn formula. This is a great addition, it’s just a shame that we don’t know the doses of them all.
Aside from the disappointing use of a proprietary blend, it was also a shame not to find some other ingredients in this formula.
For example, there was no Beetroot Extract, which is one of our favorite pre workout ingredients.
The Protein Works could also have used some other good pre workout ingredients such as Citrulline Malate.

Raze-Burn Pre Workout Reviews
We did some digging to see what real customers are saying about Raze-Burn.
At the time of writing, Raze-Burn had a 98% positive rating from 17 reviews on the official The Protein Works website. It’s not clear if these reviews have been moderated or not.
One happy customer left a five-star review and said that it was a “very good” pre workout powder that gave them a good buzz.
Someone else said that they really loved the Green Apple flavor.
What About Side Effects?
The main thing to be careful of when it comes to pre workout supplements is the use of too many stimulants.
The problem with Raze-Burn is that we don’t know the exact Caffeine content, because it is not disclosed on the ingredients list.
This is not ideal, as we all know that too many stimulants such as Caffeine can cause negative side effects such as the jitters or energy crashes.
We strongly recommend that you check the label carefully before taking any new supplement for the first time to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Is This The Best Pre Workout For Me?
We don’t currently rate Raze-Burn as one of the very best pre workout supplements out there right now.
It’s a decent supplement that does contain a lot of good ingredients, but we feel that it’s let down badly by the fact that it uses a proprietary blend, so we don’t know the specific doses of the ingredients in the product.

Anything Else To Consider?
As always, you should speak to a certified medical professional before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.
Pre workout supplements usually contain pretty large amounts of Caffeine, so we wouldn’t recommend taking Raze-Burn too late in the day, as the stimulant content could affect your sleep.
You should also remember that a pre workout supplement will not do the hard work for you. You’ll have to make sure that you’re sticking to a healthy diet and training regime before thinking about seeing results from products like this one.
It’s always a good idea to make sure that you’re eating right, training hard and getting plenty of rest before thinking about using a pre workout supplement.
Review Conclusion – Final Thoughts
That brings us to the end of our Raze-Burn review.
Overall, we think that this is an OK pre workout supplement that is let down badly by the fact that it uses a proprietary blend and doesn’t use some of our favorite ingredients for a product in this category.
The good news is that it’s one of the more affordable pre workouts out there, but we feel that there are better options on the market right now.
