Red Cell is a “Thermo-CLA Hybrid” supplement made by The Protein Works which has been formulated to help support your body goals.

We’re always on the lookout for the latest supplements to hit the market in this category, so we were keen to take a closer look at Red Cell to see whether it’s a product worth using or not.

So, if you’re looking to find out everything there is to know about Red Cell, then you’ve landed on the right page.

This Red Cell review is going to focus on all of the main things that you need to know about this particular supplement so that you can decide whether it’s the right product for you or not.

We’re going to be paying particularly close attention to the ingredient formula, the customer reviews and the dosages as we look to see where it stands in comparison to the best so-called ‘fat burner’ supplements out there right now.

There are so many different supplements out there in this category these days that it can be difficult to pick out the top products.

This review should make it easier for you to decide whether you want to go with Red Cell or try something else instead.

So, with the introductions out of the way, let’s start taking a closer look at Red Cell from The Protein Works.

Red Cell – The Basics

As we have already mentioned, Red Cell is a ‘hybrid’ supplement made by the UK-based company The Protein Works.

The Protein Works are a UK-based supplements manufacturer who are well known for offering high quality products at affordable prices.

Red Cell is presented as a ‘hybrid’ thermogenic and pre workout supplement. It’s designed to be taken before periods of training and exercise to help support your body goals.

The product comes in an eye-catching red box, and the capsules use dual-release technology.

The marketing material says that Red Cell will be able to help you to “smash” your body goals as you look to step your game up.

The Protein Works say that they have combined two popular formulas – Thermopro and CLA – to make Red Cell.

Priced at £34.99 for a box containing 30 servings, it’s one of the more expensive supplements in this category out there right now.

The marketing material claims that Red Cell uses “premium grade” and “scientifically backed” ingredients to deliver results to support your goals.

It all sounds pretty good to us so far, but we prefer not to pay too much attention to what manufacturers say about their own supplements.

Instead, it’s generally a better idea to focus on the ingredients formula and the customer reviews to see where it stands.

So, with that in mind, let’s move on to the next important section in our Red Cell review.

The Ingredients

Let’s begin this important section by taking a look at the actual ingredients label of Red Cell as shown on the box.

The Red Cell ingredients formula. It’s great that The Protein Works have not used a proprietary blend with this supplement

Firstly, we should praise The Protein Works for going against the trend and opting not to use a proprietary blend with this supplement.

This means that we have been clearly shown the doses of all the ingredients in the formula, so we know exactly how much of each ingredient has been included.

Let’s now focus on the main ingredients in the Red Cell formula.

• Vitamin B6 – We always like to see B Vitamins included in supplements of this type as they play important roles in a number of bodily processes. In case you didn’t know, Vitamin B6 contributes to normal energy release and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

• Chromium – This is an essential mineral that your body needs in trace amounts to be able to function properly. Amongst other things, Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism.

• Cayenne Pepper Extract – Cayenne Pepper is one of the most popular ingredients for supplements of this type – and for good reason. We always like to see it included in products like this – so it was good to find it in the Red Cell formula.

• Green Coffee Extract – This is another very popular supplement ingredient that we were pleased to find in the formula. In case you didn’t know, unroasted Green Coffee Beans are rich in a substance called Chlorogenic Acid, which is thought to have a number of impressive benefits.

• Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) – This is one of the main ingredients in the Red Cell formula. CLA is thought to have a number of benefits. The Protein Works say that CLA is a “special” kind of fatty acid that has been used in a number of studies.

• Citrus Aurantium Another name for ‘bitter orange’ extract, this is another common ingredient for supplements of this type. However, we must say that we are not huge fans of it. We would have preferred to see something more proven used in its place.

• Caffeine – You probably already know all about Caffeine and its benefits. It’s a popular stimulant consumed by millions of people on a daily basis. We like the fact that Red Cell only uses 70mg of Caffeine per serving, which is a sensible dose.

What’s Missing?

The Red Cell formula is a pretty strong one. That being said, there were a few things we were disappointed not to find in this supplement.

For example, it was a shame that there was no Green Tea Extract included in this supplement. It’s one of our favorite ingredients for a product like this.

It was also slightly disappointing that this product didn’t use any more Vitamins and Minerals. It would have been nice to see Vitamin B12 included at the very least.

Red Cell Reviews

We took a look online to see what real customers were saying about Red Cell.

At the time of writing, it had 75 reviews on the official The Protein Works website, although it’s not clear if these have been moderated in any way or not.

One happy customer left a five-star review and said that it was a “great workout supplement” to help support their goals.

Many people also reported enjoying significant energy boosts by using this product.

There was not much in the way of negative reviews of Red Cell, which seems a little bit suspect to us.

What About Side Effects?

As always, you should carefully check the label of any supplement before taking it to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.

It’s also a good idea to speak to a certified medical professional before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.

The main thing to be wary of when it comes to side effects of supplements like this is the overuse of stimulants such as Caffeine.

In this case, the 70mg dose is a sensible one, but it’s still probably a good idea not to take this product too close to bedtime.

We’re also not too sure about Citrus Aurantium as an ingredient. It’s best to do your research about this ingredient.

Is This The Best Supplement For Me?

Red Cell is a decent supplement but we do not rate it as one of the very best ones in this category right now.

It has some good ingredients and positive reviews, but it falls short mainly because it’s missing things such as Green Tea Extract – and we’re not too sure about Citrus Aurantium.

Anything Else To Consider?

Just remember that supplements like this are not designed to work miracles on their own.

They have been designed to be combined with a healthy diet and overall lifestyle. You’ve got to be training hard and eating right if you’re expecting to see real results.

Remember to also consult a certified medical professional before thinking about making any changes to your diet or starting any new kind of supplementation.

Review Conclusion – Final Thoughts

That brings us to the end of our Red Cell review. Overall, we think this is a decent supplement that contains a few good ingredients.

However, it doesn’t quite make it onto our list of the top products out there, because it’s missing things like Green Tea and Vitamin B12.
