Today we’re going to be reviewing the Test HD supplement made by MuscleTech.

MuscleTech are one of the biggest brands in the health and fitness industry, so it’s difficult not to take notice when they add a new product to their lines.

Test HD is MuscleTech’s main male supplement offering, so if you’re looking to find out all of the important things there are to know about this supplement, then you’re in the right place.

Before we get going, it’s important to realise that most of the products in this category, including the one featured on this page, have not been proven to boost testosterone levels.

They are usually simply food supplements which contain a number of plant extracts and other ingredients such as vitamins and minerals.

We’re going to take a look through the ingredients formula, the customer reviews and the servings to see where this supplement stands in relation to the best so-called ‘testosterone boosters’ available to you right now.

So, with the introductions out of the way, let’s now start taking a closer look at the Test HD supplement in a bit more detail to see where it stands in relation to the top products around at the moment.

Test HD – The Basics

As we’ve already clearly gathered, Test HD fits into the broader range of supplements know widely as so-called ‘testosterone boosters’.

We've picked out the top three leading supplements on the market right now.

Test HD is available to buy at outlets such as Amazon and Bodybuilding.com online. At the time of writing GNC did not stock the original Test HD, but they did have other formulas.

The official marketing material on Amazon claims that this product will work in multiple ways to help support you on your journey.

The Amazon listing goes on to claim that this particular supplement is backed up by three clinical studies into some of the ingredients used in the formula, which sounds pretty good to us.

It claims that the key ingredients used in the Test HD formula have been shown to “significantly” have positive effects.

Of course, that sounds great, but we’ll take a look at the ingredients formula in the next section in more detail to see whether this supplement can live up to those claims or not.

The marketing material on Amazon also goes on to claim that this product uses “superior science” to deliver “superior results”.

This all certainly sounds good to us, but we prefer to put the marketing hype to one side and instead focus on the customer reviews, ingredients formula and doses to judge whether a product will do what it claims to or not.

So with that in mind, let’s start taking a closer look at the Test HD supplement in a bit more detail as we look to try and determine where it ranks in relation to the top products on the market right now.

The Ingredients

Let’s start this key section by taking a look at the actual ingredients label of Test HD as shown on the bottle.

We should applaud MuscleTech for being totally transparent with their customers and not using a proprietary blend with this formula.

This means that we can clearly see all of the ingredients used, along with their doses, which is how it should be.

We always recommend that you don’t go for any kind of supplement that uses a proprietary blend, because there’s really no reason for a manufacturer not to be transparent with their customers in this day and age.

Let’s now take a detailed look at the ingredients that Test HD uses to see if it can live up to the marketing hype or not.

• Zinc – Zinc is an essential mineral that your body needs in small amounts to perform a number of important processes. In case you didn’t know, Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal serum testosterone concentrations and normal fertility and reproduction. So it’s a good start to the Test HD formula.

• Shilajit Extract – This is a substance you may not have heard of before, but it’s a relatively common supplement ingredient. It’s a sticky substance found mainly in the rocks of the Himalayan Mountains, and develops centuries from the decomposition of plants. Although it’s common, there is not enough scientific evidence behind it in our opinion.

• Boron – This is another mineral and a solid inclusion in the Test HD formula. It’s a dietary mineral which is claimed to help with certain things when taken at higher doses than you would usually find it in food. It’s a decent inclusion in the Test HD formula.

• Broccoli – You know doubt know all about broccoli as a healthy food to add to your diet. MuscleTech have included it in this supplement because it supplies a substance called diindolylmethane. It is claimed it could help to regulate certain bodily processes.

• Stinging Nettle Extract – This is quite a common ingredient in supplements like this. There are some claims online that Stinging Nettle root extract could help with some things, but more research is needed in this area. It’s an OK inclusion.

• Safed Musli Extract – Also known as Chlorophytum Borivilianum, this is a herb which has been used in traditional Indian medicine. It’s known as an ingredient which could potentially have some positive effects, but more human research is needed in this area in our opinion.

What’s Missing?

The Test HD formula has some pretty good things in it, and it’s great news that MuscleTech haven’t used a proprietary blend with this supplement.

However, we would have loved to have seen the following ingredients used to take it to the next level:

• D-Aspartic Acid
• Magnesium
• Fenugreek

D-Aspartic Acid is one of our favorite ingredients and you’ll usually find it in the formulas of the top products in this category.

Magnesium is another essential mineral which contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and normal energy release.

Test HD Reviews

At the time of writing, there were more than 300 Test HD reviews on Amazon, which underlines its status as a popular product. It had an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars on Amazon.

One person left a five-star review and said that they loved it because it helped them to boost their energy and drive, as well as helping with muscle mass.

However, one more negative review came from somebody who claimed that this supplement had no effect for them whatsoever.

What About Test HD Side Effects?

The Test HD formula looks relatively safe to us, and it doesn’t use any stimulants such as Caffeine.

However, we do always advise that you do some of your own research into the ingredients and carefully check the label yourself before taking any supplement for the first time.

We can help with a general overview of a supplement, but we do always recommend that you do some of your own research first.

Is This The Best Supplement For Me?

In our opinion, Test HD is a decent supplement which has a number of solid ingredients such as Zinc, Boron and Shilajit.

However, we don’t quite rate it as one of the very best supplements in this category at the moment, because it’s still missing a number of our favorite ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid.

Anything Else To Consider?

Never forget that you should always make sure to get your diet and training regime on point before considering adding any kind of supplement to your daily routine.

Too many people buy products and expect them to work miracles without them having to make the right lifestyle choices.

You should always first ensure that you’re exercising regularly, eating well and getting plenty of rest before considering adding any kind of supplement to your diet.

The best results will always come when a quality supplement is combined with the right lifestyle choices.

Test HD Review Conclusion – Final Thoughts

So, this brings us to the end of our Test HD review.

Overall, this is a decent supplement made by a reputable company, and which doesn’t use a proprietary blend (good news).

However, we don’t quite rate it as one of the very best supplements in this category at the moment because it’s missing some of our top-rated ingredients.
